At the working session    

At the working session, Mr. Yoshihide Hata introduced briefly about the Nipponham Group, Japan. It specializes in manufacturing, processing meat and processed food. Currently, it has expanded its operations in 18 countries with the annual revenues of USD 12 billion. The factory in Hung Yen which is located in Thang Long II Industrial Park and started to operate on 25 September, 2017, is the second one in Vietnam. The average production capacity is about 6-7 tons of raw pork per day. At present, the input material for its production is imported in Hanoi. The factory is committed to ensuring food hygiene and safety in production and strictly complying with the provisions of law in production and business. 

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong affirmed that the province had a lot of potentials and advantages in attracting investment. The province expected the enterprise to do research and survey to coordinate with provincial authorities to build a raw material area in the province. Currently, Hung Yen is a province that has developed pig farming and raw materials are provided sufficiently for production but it has no centralized slaughter-house meeting the standard. 

He proposed the enterprise to well implement the requirements on food hygiene and safety as well as environmental protection. On the basis of the law, the province pledged to remove the enterprise's difficulties and problems arising in the course of operation.
